A day to remember... My mom's birthday party at home!!!

It was trully day to remember... Few reasons! The first is our mom's birthday and the second is our united efforts to make it the day for her to remember! We did our best... really! Me and dad were making goodies for her and Sasha was responsible for waking us early in the morning... it was really EARLY in the morning! our mom is an early bird and to do surprise for her meant to wake up at about 4:30 or 5:00. For Sasha it was easier not to sleep at all so he wouldn't miss the time to wake us. Dad and me we went to sleep at 1:00... So we had just few hours to sleep!

We made Chocolate homemade truffles for her!

Most of all in her life (after God and us) she likes sweets =o)

And she REALLY liked them!!!

Of course it is hard to make breakfast which would be at least as tasty as hers...

But we did a tinfoil breakfast... aaand it was... mmmm... yummy!!!

During our early celebration we got a phone call from Louis Rassmussen...

and, yes, she cried... his HAPPY BIRTHDAY in Russian deeply touched her heart!

Another treat we had for her is ORANGE CREAM!

I prayed and pondered what can I give her for her day that will always cherish her heart that could be meaningful for her and what she would treasure years afterwards... and I was given what it is! I did a remembrance box for her.

When she first opened it, she did not realized what is in there... ;o)

Funny situations people remember about her, what come first to their mind when they think of her, touching moments they had together or special experience together...

This gift had special meaning, because by some reason I gave her you, those people who she loves dearly.

For her it was,is and would be the BEST present EVER!!!

Sometimes she laughed!!!!

Sometimes she cried...

...to be honest most of the notes made her cry...

but it was tears of happiness, love and missing all of you!

Thank you everybody for helping me to do such a good birthday present for her!!!
